...and 1 thing it absolutely DOESN'T!

So, you’ve got something to offer your dream client.

(And a paid thing, no less! Look at you!)

No matter what kind of sales page you go with– long, short, simple + straightforward, or tricked out with all the bells + whistles…

There are a few essentials you won’t wanna leave out.

Let’s get your offer out there into the world, shall we?

Read on for 3 things every health/wellness sales page needs (…and 1 thing it absolutely doesn’t):

Slimy. Sales-y.

If words like these spring to mind when you think of selling, it’s probably because you’ve been on the other end of a really bad sales page.

And by “really bad” I don’t mean poorly written (although there’s plenty of that out there, too…). I mean “really bad” as in unethical, unfeeling, and downright unwilling to consider the person landing on the page!

That’s not you, friend. Not by a long shot.

So, whatever you’re selling, you want to be sure your natural empathy is shining through the words on your sales page.

(It’s what’ll help set you apart as an island of awesomeness in a sea of slimy and sales-y.)

ASK YOURSELF:

  • Does my sales page make it clear that I not only understand my dream client’s struggle, but that I’m in the struggle with them, ready to help them navigate their way through?
  • Does my sales page honor my dream client’s past attempts to resolve their own struggle?
  • Does my sales page acknowledge how hard it can be to make wise purchasing decisions, when there are so many options (and so much bad information) out there?

ready to attract more of the right people to your business?

YES, PLEASE!


2) Your health/wellness sales page needs a clear promise.

Oh, how I wish I could launch a one-woman rescue operation to save the otherwise well-crafted sales pages of the world from certain doom!

Dramatic? Maybe.

But, it’s so true:

Way too often, I see sales pages that aren’t yielding the, ahem, SALES they should be… all because it wasn’t clear what was actually for sale!

Your dream client has made it to your sales page. This is cause for major celebration!

Don’t risk losing them, simply because they had to work too hard to decipher what you’re offering them.

ASK YOURSELF:

  • Is it clear, from my sales page alone, how my dream client will benefit from this offering?
  • Does my sales page clearly distinguish between my dream client’s current reality + the future reality they can expect as a result of my offering?

3) Your health/wellness sales page needs a simple next step.

So, they’ve read your sales copy…!

They’ve weighed the pros + cons…!

Now your dream client’s ready to opt IN to what your selling, and…!!!

“Hmm. Where exactly do I… DO that??” 

Friend, if you take nothing else from this post, please hear this:

You’ve gotta make it supremely easy to hire you.

We’ve all traversed the wretched wasteland that is a complicated online checkout process. Don’t make your dream client do the same.

I recommend exactly ONE call-to-action on your sales page. Repeated various ways throughout your sales copy.

Use highlighted links. Use colorful buttons.

Use whatever you like, just make sure it all links to the same, clear checkout process!

ASK YOURSELF:

  • Does my sales page present a simple next step (e.g., book a call, buy now, enroll here) for my dream client to take?
  • Do I provide multiple versions of this same call-to-action throughout the sales page?

want a schedule filled with dream clients?

YES, PLEASE!


P.S. Your health/wellness sales page does NOT need to exploit your dream client’s fear or insecurity.

I trust you already know this. But it’s important enough that I think we could all use the reminder:

All those marketing tactics you’ve read? The ones that swear the best way to build “urgency” to buy is to “leverage” your dream client’s fears + insecurities by heightening them in your sales copy?

Yeah, in our world, that’s called exploitation.

And we, as healers + helpers, are SO much better than that.

Not only is it unethical to prey on our people’s vulnerabilities. It’s also completely unnecessary.

So, let’s be done with those kind of tactics, once and for all. Yeah?

Let’s make our offers so good they (almost) speak for themselves.

ASK YOURSELF:

  • Does my sales page ethically acknowledge my dream client’s struggle by a) clearly identifying it, and b) conveying empathy?
  • Does my sales page transparently position my offering as a bridge between their current reality + the future reality they desire?
  • Does my sales page communicate respect for my dream client, empowering them to make their own decision?

Let’s take action!

  • Set a timer for 30 minutes and outline a sales page for one of your products, services, or other offerings. Make sure it contains the 3 essential components above!
